This large, colorful tulipiere was thrown on the potter's wheel and then altered and and decorated using a variety of handbuilding techniques. The result is a piece that will show off a dozen tulips, or any other long-stemmed flowers, in grand style. It is also beautiful enough to be displayed by itself.
The vase is 11 inches high by approx. 5-1/2 inches wide. Made from porcelaneous stoneware, glazed inside and out, it was fired to 2232 degrees F. and is dishwasher-safe. Meant for generations of use.
