An elegant way to display and serve your favorite fruit. This set includes the bowl with hand-carved rim and holes in an attractive pattern and a separate saucer for catching drips after washing your blueberries, strawberries, or other small fruit. The bowl measures approx. 6-3/4 " wide X 3" deep. Both pieces are dishwasher-safe. They are hand thrown on a potters wheel from speckled buff clay and fired to 2200 degrees F. The speckles in the clay break through the glaze to give an interesting, variegated surface.
